The Senior Community Employment Program provides a community service employment program for unemployed low-income persons who are 55 years or older and who have poor employment prospects. These individuals are enrolled by the CVADD and placed in community service organizations in Bell, Clay, Harlan, Jackson and Whitley counties where they work no more than twenty hours per week at minimum wage.  The Senior Community Employment Program is funded by Title V of The Older Americans Act.
