Homecare Services
Homecare is a state funded program that provides social and nutritional services in the homes of persons 60 years of age or older who have difficulties managing normal daily activities. Services are designed to assist them in maintaining their independence, in their home, for as long as possible. It provides the following in-home services based upon the needs of the individual.
Eligibility: A person must be sixty years of age or older and conditions determined by a formal assessment and reassessment at least every six months.
Cost for Services: Cost is based on a sliding fee scale. No one is ineligible due to excessive income, but they may be asked to pay more for services that a person with a lower income.
